In Dance with a Vampire by Ellen Schreiber we find Raven and Alexander battling a completely new foe – their old foes’ little brother, Valentine. Raven finds out that Valentine has befriended her brother, Billy, and she will do anything to ensure Billy’s safety. Much of the book follows this plot line. Oh, and there’s also Prom to contend with, and Trevor Mitchell, Raven’s long standing rival.
These books are becoming formula. Well, they always have been, but I’m starting to notice it after four. Introduce conflict, insert longing, Scooby Doo like missions, some sort of a party, really quick wrap up, the end. Done. Quick. Over.
I also realized that I’ve pretty much had Tom Felton in my head as Trevor Mitchell since he was introduced as a blond in the first book. Funny.
4 out of 5 stars. Onto book five.
