Here’s an experiment – go to your local book store and stand in the Young Adult area. Randomly throw a rock. Chances are you will hit a book with a love triangle in it. Odds are pretty good that it has a Werewolf theme to it too. Nightshade by Andrea Cremer has both of…

…Okay, okay… I know. I’m a year behind schedule on reading this one. I blame rereading the series, and knowing it was the last one. I savoured it until I needed it. That said… wow. I’m so happy. I waited for this for years, and I’m thrilled.

I’ve waited to read this book since discovering The Cabinet of Wonders last year. It was one of my absolute favourite reads of 2008. Adored it. Utterly. I’m thrilled to death. The sequel, The Celestial Globe, was worth the wait.

Well, that was a fun day. I picked up Melissa de la Cruz’s second book in her Blue Bloods series, Masquerade. This was this morning.. I just completed it. Ummm, another one bites the dust? I suppose. The books are super quick reads (clearly) but so much fun. This one starts with Schuyler and…

So, Blue Bloods is one of those series that I have been meaning to get to for a while now and just haven’t picked up longer that shelving it. Last night I decided it was time…and, lo and behold, not even 24 hours later and I am done with the first book. Wow, what…

This is the first time I have read Diana Pharaoh Francis, as well as her first time writing Urban Fantasy. Seems appropriate that I come to her with something fresh, now doesn’t it? Bitter Night has a bit of a complicated mythos to it. I’ll try to simplify. There are these powerful witches who maintain covensteads for…
