This is the End

Hello friends, it’s been a minute.

It should come to no surprise that I am no longer actively working on this project. Those who know me know that I had a baby, and that she has significantly changed everything in my life. My time is finite, and I am not reading the volume I once did. I also no longer have the time to keep up this blog. Some time ago, I decided that this would be my last year blogging. It was an easier choice then I thought it would be, which means it’s the right decision for a thousand reasons. I am sad to see it go, but okay at the same time. The world of book blogging has changed so much since I came into it, and there are a lot of reasons why I must say farewell.

In all honesty, I lost a lot of desire to continue book-blogging with the loss of my bookstore job. I no longer get tomorrow’s latest and greatest books six months ahead of time. Even when I was, it was doing less and less for me every year. I was reading and caring less and less. And since I had my daughter, well…available time is no longer what it once was. But the lack of my professional reading job really killed my drive, and I am sort of enjoying having evenings where I don’t have to read a book. Or, perish the thought, read books that are not imminent arrivals. Gasp, shock.

To that end, I am choosing to not renew either my hosting fee nor my domain name. The domain expires in a few weeks and the hosting shortly after. I expect the lights to go out here sometime in early to late June. I would say it’s bittersweet, but I had a good run. Seven good years plus one bad one is nothing to scoff at.

Should anyone wish to contact me in the future, I have my goodreads account still and my facebook page. I intend to keep these going a little while for potential trade posts. There’s also my twitter. Beyond those, you could always email me at .

I hope that everyone has good reading days, and I wish you all the best of luck in your endeavors. Keep fighting the good fight with all thy might. And remember that the joy is in the love of the books and not in the drama surrounding them. I am trying to relearn all of that now.

Folks, it has been a pleasure and an honor. Enjoy every day!

This is BP, AKA Krys, signing off.
