By the time that you read this I will be away and back again. Or close enough.

I have gone away on vacation and I took ALL of these books with me. Because I’m me.

Because I’m sure that everyone takes a stack of 12+ books on a four-day vacation up north? And of those titles they don’t take a mixture of Fairy Folklore, Young Adult Contemporary, American Classics, Steampunk, New Adult, Fantasy, Middle Grade Feminist Mystery, British Classics, and Shakespeare with them?

No? It’s just me…?
oh…okay then. Carry on.

I’ll talk more expressively when I have reached post-vacation mode. Which should be any time now.

In the meantime, You’re in charge. What does YOUR vacation list look like? Do you go overboard with books as well? Let me know.

Happy reading!

Did you go up to Sleeping Bear Dunes? I can’t remember the name of the river we always went canoeing on…it ended up out in Lake Michigan.

I’d take some books, usually books in a mystery series . I read mostly on the road…I never did more than like 1% of the driving so I’d have lot of time.

Yes we did, stayed at the DH Day campground. You’re thinking of the Platte river, which we were going to canoe on, but didn’t get the opportunity. It rained for a lot of the trip, so things like canoeing were out. We mostly drove about looking for other things to do.

I usually bring a ton of books too for the same reasons. Yesterday was the first driving I did the whole trip and it was probably only 40 minutes or so.
