The Perks of Being a Bookseller: Part 65

65. Wow. That’s a lot of books.

I know, I’ve been away for a time. I have lots of things going on and little time to sit down and read, let alone blog. My husband is trying to make us (by us I mean me) more social (and less introverted, i.e. focused on solo things, like reading), so that takes work. Plus, I’ve been walking more and that takes time.

But, this is not that. So here is your book porn.

This is actually something like three weeks worth of books. I’ve just been THAT busy.

For instance I have already read and reviewed The Young Elites by Marie Lu (and I loved it!). And, while it was a great book, I have already read two or three since then, and put distance in between me and it. And it’s only been a week. My husband is actually reading Mosquitoland, because it has an insect in the title and it’s been sitting around here. He is enjoying it. I’m only mentioning it because it’s very odd for him to pick up Young Adult at all, and even more odd that he’s liking it. I see potential in this young Jedi.

I’m still in the midst of reading Gone with the Wind, though admittedly I haven’t picked it up for over a week. It’s one of those I can go back to here and there, which I might resort to doing between books. I finished Delilah S. Dawson’s Servants of the Storm, which I enjoyed albeit with some resistance. It was a little long in the middle. Last night I started reading a short by Sarah J. Maas just to put me to sleep. The thunderstorms here have been messing with my sinuses and as such that also lightens my reading. I’m slowly picking away at all of the things. Having little time is, well, frustrating, but probably necessary. I must remind myself to be a real girl sometimes.

I’m between books (besides GWTW), and I need to start something soon. I have a host of e-books, and I should probably start Brenna Yovanoff’s Fiendish. It’s the next book to expire on my iPad.

 Mmmm… horror.

All the books, folks. ALL of them.

I’m out folks. What are you reading this week? What are you most looking forward to read?
