The Perks of Being a Bookseller: Part 46

Hello all.

I’m back from the wild and snowy winds of Chicago. I spent a lot of time on a train and reading (though not as much as I wanted to). It was great and I wish I could do more frequently.

Here’s what I received during the week.

Assorted goodies from various pubs.

More assorted goodies.

Also, I found this nugget in the Prototype ARC this week.

– Blurb from Archetype by M.D. Waters. –

Guess who?

(Bragging rights… raises roof.)

So, there’s that. Which is all sorts of nifty… and makes me want to read every single book that has the furthest off release date. Truth. It also makes me wonder if that particular nugget has made its way into the final copy of Archetype. If it does it probably will not until paperbacks come out. But still, it’s very cool that it might happen. It means things are slowly going in very good directions.

What else… Read the Rossi books and loved them. Well, that’s a lie. I have about thirty pages left in the third book. But I am still loving it. It has some final book quirks, but I’m not mad at them. Rather I expect them, and embrace them.

I have oodles of projects on the line, so I’m off. What are you reading right now and what are you most looking forward to read?

Next week, all.

Wow! You got your own your own blurb! 😀

I heard that Dorothy Must Die is pretty good, and it looks pretty interesting. Nice haul!
