Well, it’s that time of the week and also that time of the year. Every March/April I receive the Fall ARCs from Harpercollins. This week that box came, and here is what was inside.

… kitty!
(For the record, Harpercollins did not send me a cat. That is Yuki, who LOVES boxes)
Here are the actual contents of the Harper box. In all of their glory.
(Plus Brandon Sanderson, who is Random House).

Yuki loves her Harpercollins.

(Thanks again for the books, HC!)

Two books I bought this week, one of which I have already read. Box Lunch is a present for someone, and Deadly Sting is mine. And I’m looking forward to reading it.
So yeah… tons of books. I’m pretty happy. There are a bunch that I am looking forward to, I just have to catch up with last season’s forthcoming.

Argh!
This blog is, more or less, just a stream of consciousness of me and my book neurosis.
Yay for book neurosis!
I’m currently reading Level 2 by Lenore Appelhans, which is good, but I didn’t read any of it yesterday, so I have to get back into it. I also started Charles Darwin’s The Origin of the Species yesterday… because it was Easter (ellipse, question mark). It’s my “good-for-me non-fiction” read for the moment. And I’m dating/marrying a Biologist, so that’s the reasoning behind that out-of-the-blue choice.
Because if I can’t get ahead of the giant pile of books I should, at the very least, read something that has been sitting on my shelf for some time.
Indeed.
I guess that’s all. But here are more kitty-in-a-box (exclamation point) pictures for you fine folks. She only ever ventures out of her lair for boxes, so I actually got more pictures of her.
