In My Stack

So, with my goalwar from 2011 abandoned I have time to concentrate on the influx of books that publishers are sending to me, namely what you see above. This is just a small smattering of what I have laying about my flat as far as quantity goes. Le sigh. So, for the rest of 2011 I am going to try to make serious inroads into my incoming piles starting here, with all of this awesome. This is part of what I plan to read over the next few months. What are you looking forward to out of it the most? And, if you have read anything out of here, what was your favourite?

Not pictured above its Beautiful Chaos by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl (which I have the special spiral bound manuscript of, there were very few made!), Hunted by DJ DeSmyter (releasing August 9th), Witch Eyes by Scott Tracey (releasing September 8th), The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab (releasing August 2nd, which I had an arc of once and gave it up. boo.), and The Pearl Wars by Nick James. I’m sure there’s lots more I left out but my memory serves me poorly a times. Also, I have a small ton of awesome on my way from some of the major publishers as we speak, which many of you are dying to read (as am I). The hills will soon rebound with SQUEES and JEALOUSY aplenty!

I’ll see what I can do about giveaways, but I usually only give away doubles, things I am done with, or not interested in. My requested books are special and for me. In the mean time check these out.

All joking aside though I’ve been really bad about reading lately. In the month of July I only finished eight books… this may sound like a lot to most, but I started twelve. 12 – 15 is my average a month as well. I sure blogged a lot, but as for the reading I feel like I was dragging ass. I intend to fix this. With a passion. From now on I am buckling down less time wasted online (curse you twitter) and more time snuggling and finishing books. I’m trying to be a better book reader and reviewer and I feel so lazy lately.

So, off I go to the nether world of which I belong and by that I mean my sofa, with tea, and a cat.. and Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer. Squee! I love my job.
