Review – Prophecy of the Sisters

I tried to read Michelle Zink’s Prophecy of the Sisters on a long road trip. I got to about page 90 before realizing that I was not enjoying the book at all… so much so that I cannot even recall what was going on in the book to explain it in the review. That’s how little of an impression it made upon me.

I didn’t finish it, clearly. I abandoned in favour of Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Infinity, which I am infinitely liking better. I had to, the pun was there for the taking.

To be fair, this is the second time I tried to pick up Sisters. Granted, I did get about 50 pages further, but the fact that twice it did not compel me is too much to ignore. I rarely struggle through books a second time if it didn’t grab me the first try, and certainly never attempt a third read. I think we can safely call this one not great.

1 of 5 stars, for failing to impress.
